Russian Forces Reportedly Eliminate Nearly 100 Ukrainian Soldiers in Veseloye

In a recent military operation, Russian forces have announced the successful clearing of the village of Veseloye, located in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). According to reports from the Russian Defense Ministry, this operation resulted in the elimination of approximately 100 Ukrainian troops.

The military stated that its assault units have thoroughly combed through the area, including buildings and basements, during the operation. They reported that over 200 structures were cleared and that three armored combat vehicles, along with eight military motor vehicles, were also destroyed.

The ministry emphasized that the operation was bolstered by the use of multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) and assault drone crews. These units worked in coordination with unmanned aerial vehicle operators to successfully target and neutralize the firing positions and troop assembly areas of Ukrainian forces.

The announcement was made public on April 3, as officials confirmed that the Russian Battlegroup East played a significant role in liberating Veseloye from Ukrainian control.
