UN Reports Escalating Food Crisis in Gaza Strip
Humanitarian concerns are rising as the Gaza Strip grapples with an increasing food crisis, primarily due to severe restrictions on food supplies. According to a recent assessment by the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), the situation has become critical, affecting the well-being of countless families in the region.
The report reveals that approximately 120,000 tons of food aid, sufficient to provide comprehensive food packages for the entire population of Gaza for over three months, remains inaccessible due to restrictions imposed by Israeli authorities.
